Calling all psychiatry residents with innovative ideas!
Announcing the first Luminello Innovation in Technology Award. We’re looking for the best idea from a graduating psychiatry resident or fellow on how technology can be used to improve patient care, improve provider processes and/or advance the psychiatry field. We encourage submissions that think big and bold!
The winning idea will be selected by a special panel of the Luminello advisory board. We will award $2,000 for the best idea, and will also give a $500 honorarium to the winner’s training program. If the resident, fellow, or program was referred by a current Luminello subscriber, that subscriber will win a year free as well. And, all graduating residents or fellows who submit an idea will receive an additional free month of a Luminello premium plan.
Refer a resident or program and win a free year of Luminello
Current Luminello subscribers can participate by referring residents/fellows to submit an idea, or by referring training program directors (who would then spread the word). If the referral leads to an idea submission, you’ll get a free month of Luminello, and if the referral leads to the award, you will get an entire free year of a Luminello! Just drop us a line whenever you make a referral so we can keep track.
Award program details
- Submissions must be the submitter’s original idea.
- Deadline for submissions is June 30, 2018.
- Submitter must be a graduating resident/fellow. The winner must prove his/her status by either: a) sending us the website address of his/her program that shows his/her bio or b) having the training director confirm his/her status via email.
- Per IRS regulations, the winner must provide a W-9 before funds can be remitted.
- In the case of multiple submissions of the same winning idea, the first submission will be deemed the winning one.
- Limit one promotional offer per resident, regardless of how many ideas are submitted.
- For every referral by a current Luminello subscriber of a program whose resident submits an idea, the subscriber will receive a free premium month.
- There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to submit an idea.
- Submissions become the property of Luminello, Inc. and we may, at any time, without restriction, edit, copy, publish, distribute, translate and otherwise use in any medium part or all of your submission, without paying any further compensation than as described elsewhere in these terms and conditions.
- If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
- The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material associated with the competition, as well as his/her entry.
- Prizes are not transferable.
- Luminello’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
