- Owners can delegate roles with precision and security:
- Owner – The owner creates the group account, and can set or delegate permissions for roles and access, down to a fine-tooth level.
- Superadmin – The account owner can delegate any owner-level responsibilities to the superadmin.
- Manager – For clinicians who manage other clinicians.
- User – Staff-level clinician.
- Administrative assistants – can be assigned to one or more clinicians.
- Advanced group financial reporting is expected in May 2022.

Luminello was built by mental health clinicians, so we get how important data privacy, security, HIPAA compliance, and system stability are. Privacy
- We do not and will not ever sell patient info.
- We do not advertise within the app.
- We keep clinician data for up to 12 months after last activity.
- We are HIPAA compliant and our BAA is available upon request.
Reliability
- Hosted by AWS.
- Continual backups of system activity stored for up to 30 days.
- Notes auto-saved every two minutes.
- 24/7 system monitoring and on-call team for outages.
Security
- Annual penetration testing and continual security reviews.
- Audit logs based on HIPAA guidelines.
- PCI compliance made easy with our credit card partner Bluefin’s use of tokenization and the ability for patients and clients to enter their own credit card info in the portal.
